AVINCIS MERLOT

This naturally velvety variety was introduced to the vineyards of Drăgășani a long time ago and it has adapted very well to the local climate and soil conditions, expressing rich flavours with a supple texture

40% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels (40% new) for 12 months, while the rest matured in tank.

It shows a deep purple-red colour with ruby. This wine has an expressive bouquet of raspberry, plums and a touch of dark chocolate. It offers generous blackberry fruit with notes of roast coffee beans and velvety tannins on the palate.

We suggest you serve it at around 18°C, with stews and casseroles.
